ARGFest will be based in Midtown Atlanta, a vibrant community filled with lots of museums and restaurants and, of course, an amazing park - Piedmont Park. There's lots to see & do in Midtown and almost all of it is within walking distance. To explore more of Atlanta, you'll want to use MARTA which is quick & easy (especially from Midtown).
